This contains a socket with waterproof cover and mounting nut, and wiring to connect to the battery. It provides an external charging point for battery chargers and power outlet socket for accessories e.g. mobile phones, tyre pumps, portable CD players, notebook PCs, GPS navigation units, camping lights, etc. The socket is for use with the standard European DIN (BMW) plugs. See ELA60106, ELA00016, ELA00023 and ELA00024. If your accessories are fitted with a car type plug then an adaptor will be required. See ELA00017, ELA00020, ELA00021 and ELA00025.
