Upgrades earlier models to get rid of noise at tickover; must be fitted in conjunction with ENA88629. This upgrade dispenses with the separate spring and consists of only two parts, supplied as an assembly.
Please note: this upgraded cam chain tensioner was brought in at the end of 2003 for R1150 models, but fitted as standard to R1200 models when they first arrived. You can check to see if you have the upgraded type tensioner fitted by measuring the size of the hex head on your left hand tensioner; the modified tensioner has a 15mm hex, whereas the unmodified has a 17mm hex.
