Unfortunately, since the beginning of the Euro 5 standard, there are no longer any on-board sockets on R nineT models. This had to give way to a USB socket. By installing our on-board socket, you can continue to charge navigation systems or other end devices with motorcycle connection cables (DIN plugs) as usual or supply them with power. Comfortable charging of the motorcycle battery with our CanBus-compatible charger is also possible with the help of this on-board socket.

The on-board socket is easily accessible near the steering head in the front left area below the tank with the help of the enclosed bracket. We have chosen this position because it is easily accessible for permanently installed consumers in the cockpit area or for consumers that you carry with you in your tank bag, for example.
The electrical connection of the on-board socket is made with the enclosed cable set specially pre-assembled for the R nineT. This connects the vehicle wiring harness to the on-board socket via standard BMW plug-and-play connectors.

Features:

• With the help of the on-board socket, end devices with common motorcycle connection cables with DIN plugs can be charged or supplied with power as usual
• The on-board socket is very easily accessible for consumers in the cockpit area or those who are carried in the tank bag
• The motorcycle battery can be conveniently charged with our Optimate (part number OPT-OPT4BMWVER3HK) via this new socket
• Simple connection via plug and play with a pre-assembled cable set
• Contents includes - on-board socket, retaining plate, cable set and mounting kit
