This rebuildable driveshaft is for fitment to paralever two valve twins. A repair kit is available for this driveshaft, please see TRA00012B.
Please note, this driveshaft includes spare rubber shock absorbers which can be replaced if the originals fitted to the driveshaft start to show any signs of play. A replacement circlip is included and should be replaced at the same time.
TRC00012 is our reconditioned alternative if you have one suitable for repair to exchange.
Due to the very robust universal joint bearings these drive shafts are slightly bigger across the bearing than the original and this means the drive shaft will only pass through the swing arm at an angle of 45°. The easiest way to fit one is to pass the shaft through the swing arm away from the bike before connecting the driveshaft to the gearbox and the swing arm to its bearings.
