The design brief was to make a crash bar with the same attributes and qualities of the other SB bars without the need of extensive modifications to the fairings of the RT. The result is a strong (and very pleasing to the eye) component..
The bars utilise the trademark Wunderlich shape around the cylinder, the lower tube ends with a stylish upward curve. The lower bracket follows the fairing shape closely and is connected to a massive bracket which is hidden underneath the lower fairing. The bars are connected to the bike with 6 mounting points to evenly spread the load..
Oil changes and valve clearance adjustments or regular maintenance can be made without removal of the bars. The bars are made of strong steel tubes with a quality chromed finish..
