This selector mechanism features pointed ramps on the shifting cam (see picture), eliminating the false neutrals of the earlier selectors with flat topped cams. This mechanism will interchange with those in earlier 5 speed boxes. Please note, if fitting one of these to a /6 box from before 19/1975, you will need to swap your neutral switch to ELR43097. When fitting this mechanism to any gearbox it is worth replacing the standard nylon roller with the bearing upgrade GEA31573.
