How do I return an item?

All items being returned must have a returns number

Which address do I send returned items back to?

Please send your return back to us at the address below, making sure that your returns number is clearly written on the outside and inside of the parcel so that we can identify the return once it arrives with us.

We strongly suggest that a fully tracked and insured delivery service is used! Returns are usually dealt with within 7 working days once received. 

Please note, we are a mail order business with no shop or collection counter and we are unable to deal with returns in person. 

Unwanted Item Returns

If you change your mind on your purchase, you have up to 28 days after delivery to return goods. You have the right to cancel the order within 14 days and a further 14 days from cancellation to return it for a refund or replacement as required. All refunds will be issued to the original payment method on the order.

We cannot offer a cancellation or refund on items which have been made to customer specification.

All Goods must be as received, in a saleable condition and in their original packaging with all labels still attached.

Please note that in this case we will not refund any return postage fees (except when the goods are faulty or have been incorrectly supplied).

We describe used parts to the best of our ability and will send you the best item we have in stock which matches your needs, therefore any postage costs involved in returning unwanted used parts will be at the customers expense. If you wish to return unwanted items please contact Motorworks (UK) Ltd for a returns number.

Faulty Item Returns

Faulty items are not included in our 14 day cancellation policy as they can be sent back within the warranty period.

New parts carry their manufacturer’s warranty.

Used parts carry a six month warranty which excludes fair wear and tear, items not used for the purpose intended, incorrect fitting or misuse.

All items sent back to us will undergo an inspection and it may be necessary to send the item away to the manufacturer to confirm the fault. Once we have received your item back we will inform you how we need to proceed. Motorworks (UK) Ltd reserve the right to repair/replace any defective part under warranty

Please note we will refund your reasonable return postage costs if the item is confirmed to be faulty upon inspection.

Incorrect/Damaged Item Return

It is advisable to check all goods upon receipt. Any errors or discrepancies with your order must be notified within 14 days of receipt of goods.

If you have received an incorrect or damaged item, we can only apologise! Please contact us for a returns number and we will be happy to rectify the situation as quickly as possible.

For orders placed online (orders beginning with W00):

Sign in to My account, select Returns and Initiate your return by selecting the order you would like to return items from.

We are sorry if you recieve an item that is faulty or fails under the warranty period. New parts carry their manufacturer’s warranty. Please contact us for clarification if you are not sure of the warranty period on a part. All items sent back to us will undergo an inspection and it may be necessary to send the item away to the manufacturer to confirm the fault. Once we have received your item back we will inform you how we need to proceed. Motorworks reserve the right to repair/replace any defective part under warranty. Please note, should an item be faulty we will provide a freepost returns label. 

Incorrect or damaged item returns

We put a 6 month part warranty on all used parts that we supply, along with a 14 day satisfaction guarantee! Please note, the 6 month part warranty does not include fair wear and tear, items not used for the purpose intended, or incorrect fitting or misuse. We describe used parts to the best of our ability and will send you the best item we have in stock which matches your needs; any postage costs involved in returning unwanted used parts will be at the customers expense.
