Pending payment authorisation
When you place an order with us and the payment method is credit or debit card we initially take an authorisation against the card for the full amount of your order; this authorisation ensures the funds for the order are available.
“Double” or “Pending” charges may appear on your bank account if one or more of the items are on backorder as we are unable to use the original authorisation twice. Once the backordered items have arrived and your order has been despatched, your credit or debit card will then be charged for these items.
Please note: the exact time frame for removal of the authorisation is determined by your card's issuing bank and this is something that is out of our control.
