For extra fraud protection on online transactions, 3D Secure (3DS) requires customers to complete an additional verification step with the card issuer when paying. This is now a mandatory level of protection that Motorworks adheres to. 

Typically, after you have entered your card details and clicked Place Order in the checkout process, you will be directed to an authentication page on your bank's website where you will be prompted to enter a password associated with the card or a code will be sent to your linked phone. Once this step has been validated and assuming all details are correct, the order will then be successfully placed. If any details are entered incorrectly, or if the error continues, your order will not be accepted and you may need to contact your card issuer for assistance.
