Please note that BMW have changed tolerance specification on these rotors so the tolerance between the outside diameter and the crankcase is now significantly larger. This is normal.
The groove in the side was added as a dirt trap, don't be alarmed if your old rotor doesn't have this groove as they now all come like this.
