Service kits contain all parts except fluids required for a regular 10,000 mile service (8,000 for 5 series). This kit is for bikes built from 1981-1985, but can be tailored to suit your requirements:
Base kit parts
These parts cannot be changed and include required parts such as crush washers and gaskets.
Oil filter
We offer a choice of standard type, bendy type, or bendy type for bikes with oil coolers.
Spark plugs
We offer different types of spark plug to select, from both Bosch or NGK.
Bosch WR5DC are original equipment for the following models. NGK BP7ES are an alternative:

• All 1985-'95 models!
• All R45, R80 models, 1978-'84 (incl. G/S & ST)
We also offer an NGK iridium plug as an alternative.
Need oil too?
We can supply the necessary oils for your service which, in most cases, will not add significantly to the postage. For BMW 2 valve twins we recommend either a 20/50 or a 10/40 engine oil. We can also supply gearbox, shaft and final drive oils.We also offer an NGK iridium plug as an alternative.
