These after market heavy duty retractable stands are far superior to the original, especially in strength. They attach directly to the frame, have a black epoxy finish and are simple to operate even when sitting on your machine!
This version fits /7 models which have the gear lever that mounts on the footrest instead of fitting directly into the gearbox (standard from September 1977). Please note also, you can retrofit the later gear lever and linkage to an early bike by fitting this stand.
Please note, you will need to remove your existing left hand footrest rubber and fit it to the Surefoot. Alternatively new rubbers are available, our part no is FRA34660.

Please note:

This is an exchange item. We can supply a surefoot stand before receiving your exchange left hand footrest, subject to a refundable deposit, so your bike can be kept on the road. Please add FRA41599A-1, for the deposit to your basket. This will be refunded when we receive your footrest

Alternatively if you wish to send us your footrest in advance, rather than pay the deposit, just add the part number ‘EXCHANGE-1’ to your basket. When we receive your footrest we will then despatch the order.
