PLEASE NOTE
When removing your old starter motor, be aware that other than the two locating bolts there is a small locating dowel between the two bolts on the outer face. If it is still in the engine housing then that is OK. If it is situated in the old starter it needs to be removed and placed in your new starter motor. If this dowel is not present, or is damaged, we stock replacements - see ELA06698. Whilst only a small part, it has a very important role in situating your new starter in the correct place for the ring gear to which it meshes on starting. Failure to use this dowel could result in an expensive repair bill!
