This is a reconditioned exchange Bosch starter motor with a standard 12 month warranty. The /5, /6 and early R90S models used this starter motor and Only works with the 93 tooth flywheel.  The mount plate is not included: see ELA51590.

Please double check the number of teeth before ordering, later models used 9 teeth. When checking, it's much easier to count the teeth on the starter cog.

Please note:

This is an exchange item. We can supply a starter motor before receiving your reconditionable exchange motor, subject to a refundable deposit, so your bike can be kept on the road. 

Please add ELC44670A for the deposit to your basket. This will be refunded when we receive, and have inspected, your motor.

Alternatively if you wish to send us your starter motor in advance rather than pay the deposit just add the part number ‘EXCHANGE-1’ to your basket. When we receive, and have inspected, your unit we will then despatch the order.

In order to be reconditionable the starter motor must be complete and without damage to the casing or the aluminium nose.
