The original part breaks very easily, this stainless steel upgrade is easier to fit as the slider comes further out of the body so there is more clearance for the cable to be inserted. It is compatible with the standard rubber boot for the upper cable CAA01342. Grease lightly for a smooth operation and it is heavier than the original so will benefit from being secured with a cable tie. Before you order this part you might want to consider fitting our manual choke cable kit part number FUA21002 instead.
