Clymer say 'This manual does not cover, in any way, transverse mounted four-cylinder engines, sometimes referred to as "slant K-bikes." Note model year coverage and that the "slant" bikes overlap years with the GT touring model, which is an entirely different machine. This manual covers longitudinal-mounted four-cylinder models, sometimes referred to as "brick K-bikes."'
